Berlin is huge. This pass is totally worth it, just for the free public transportation part. If you’re flying into Berlin, you’ll need the pass anyway just to get from and to the airport. It was super easy to get around everywhere, and we didn’t even lose that much time on the metro. Compared to a hop-on hop-off bus, it was much faster. I LOVED that my sons didn’t have to pay also. Once you factor in the discounts that you get also, it’s a no-brainer to get this. We got 25% off two city tours!
Getting around the city is so easy with the Berlin City Pass. My main thing is that you don’t need to constantly buy single tickets or day passes or whatever. You just take whatever metro you want and go wherever you want. It’s really simple. The discounts are also great. There’s nowhere we visited where we didn’t get a discount haha. Some places even had free entry, like the Lindenstraße Memorial. And we really saw a lot! The DDR Museum, the TV tower…very good value for money!

- With each Berlin Pass, up to 3 children between the ages of 6 and 14 can travel for free with accompanying adults.
- Children under 6 always travel free.
- The Berlin Pass includes ABC fare zones. Zone A is the inner city of Berlin, including the S-Bahn Ring. Zone B is outside the S-Bahn Ring to the city limits. Zone C is the area around Berlin.
- You can choose between a 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6-day Berlin Pass.
